What Are Countdowns Used For?

Only the closest upcoming countdown will be displayed on the student's row, ensuring that you always have the most relevant information at your fingertips.

How to Add or Edit a Countdown

Adding or editing a Countdown is a straightforward process. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Manage > Students.

  2. Click the Countdown icon on the student's row.

  3. Click Add or Edit.

  4. Enter the following details:

    • Item name

    • Recorded date

    • Expiration date

    • Notes (optional)

  5. Choose whether:

    • Parent reminders are enabled.

    • The countdown affects eligibility.

  6. Click Save.

Countdown Status Indicators

To help you quickly assess the status of countdowns, we use the following indicators:

  • No icon – No countdowns entered

  • Yellow – Expiring soon

  • Red – Expired

Parent Notifications

When enabled, parents will receive reminder emails as expiration dates approach, keeping them informed and engaged in their child's academic journey.

Best Practices for Using Countdowns

To make the most of countdowns, consider the following best practices:

  • Use clear, standardized naming conventions.
