Who Can Reverse a Student's Graduated Status?

Only staff members with District Office permissions have the ability to reverse a student's graduated status. This includes restoring their grade, graduation year, and enrollment status.

When Is This Needed?

There are several scenarios in which you may need to reverse a student's graduated status:

  • A student graduates early by mistake.

  • Credit completion status changes.

  • Graduation data was entered incorrectly.

How to Un-Graduate a Student

Follow these steps to successfully un-graduate a student:

  1. Go to Manage > Students.

  2. Switch to Preview Mode.

  3. Filter the Enrollment Status to Graduated.

  4. Locate the student and click Edit.

  5. Update the following:

    • Grade (typically 12)

    • Graduation Year

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click Edit again.

  8. Scroll to Enrollment Records.

  9. Edit the Graduated record:

    • Change Status to Active.

    • Assign the correct high school.

  10. Click Save.

Result

After completing these steps, the following will occur:

  • The student becomes Active.

  • The student will appear in the upcoming school year.

  • Eligibility and registration will resume normally.
