How Do I Transfer my Students?

Each school district maintains its own database, ensuring the privacy of all students' data. This is an important measure to keep your information safe and secure. Below, you'll find essential information regarding transferring your student(s) when moving to a new district or within the same district.

Transferring Your Student(s) Out of District

Regarding transferring accounts across districts, we want to inform you that this is not possible. This standard practice is in place to protect your data and maintain compliance with various regulations.

If you are moving to a new school district, you can find our instructions for how to initiate the withdrawal of your student(s) from your current school district here.

Transferring Your Student(s) Within the District

If your student is switching to a new school within the same district (for example, from one middle school to another), you will need to contact the school administration. They will assist you in updating your student's school assignment in FinalForms. Additionally, they will ensure that any sports or activities your student is involved in are removed prior to the transfer.

  1. On your My Students page, click the Update Forms button.

  2. If applicable, you can skip the sports selection page.

  3. When viewing the student's formset, click the title of the form you need to update (for example, Contact Information).

  4. Update the necessary information on the form as needed.

  5. Finally, click Update Form at the bottom of the form to save any changes you've made.
